Super proud and happy for Murphy and her owners, Doug and Cindy who earned their first dock diving title this weekend! For being brand new to the world of dog sports they are starting to collect quite a bit of letters to the end of Murphys name as she also recently got through her AKC and Do More With Your Dog trick dog advanced titles too!

Burkhardt earned his NADD Air Retrieve Advanced title tonight! This will give him an invite to this year's regionals for AR!
This weekend we attended performance weekend in Ridgefield, WA. Burkhardt finished his Beginner Novice title!
On Saturday in his first trial he placed 2nd out of 10 dogs with a score of 194.5. In the second trial on Saturday he placed 1st with a score of 197! On Sunday he finished his title with a score of 196.5 and a second place! I was really happy with his performance too! And to wrap up the weekend some brags on two of my students/friends who competed as well: Alanna-James Treacy and Bishop (Golden Retriever) competed in scent work and did novice containers and buried. Bishop qualified in 2 containers and 2 buried trials leaving him needing just 1 more qualifying score in both to get both titles! He also placed 3rd in Novice Buried and had some great times this weekend! This was Bishops first time trialing and I’m super proud of how he took it all in as well! Courtney Roe and Waylon (Rottweiler) qualified in all 3 of their beginner novice runs and earned their BN title! They also earned their ATT (temperament test title) and got to try FastCat which Waylon did amazing at! They both handled their first trial really well and I can’t wait to see them grow as a team! I’m really happy I got to come and support you guys this weekend! Marek finished this year as the #1 Beauceron in NADD! This gives him an invite to Nationals though we sadly aren't able to attend. He finished the year with a personal best of 22'9!
This weekend Marek and Burkhardt were invited to attend the NADD Dock Diving Regionals in Corning, California. Alanna and Bishop were also invited so we packed up and took all the boys down to compete!
Burkhardt jumped 15’2” on his first splash and 16’11” on his second which kept him in his senior division he normally jumps in. (He normally jumps around 17-18 feet). Im so thankful to this dogs temperament. He came out and knew exactly what we were doing, the new dock didn’t throw him at all. He did his normal run to the end of the dock and down on his own like he does at home for me. He comes out of the car ready to do whatever thing I want to do that day and I love every second with him. Marek jumped 20’8” in his first splash which kept him in his normal masters division but during his second he wasn’t as confident and jumped short with 15’11”. I’m super proud of how far he has come since we started this sport and he handled the new dock and environment really well. He was so excited to jump which was great to see him know that we were dock diving even though it was a new pool for him. It’s hard to believe two years ago at our first trial he was jumping 10 feet, we had to shut the music off and everyone had to be quiet for him to jump and now he’s the #1 Beauceron which will get him an invite to Nationals, he’s jumping over 20 feet and he is animated and excited to do the thing! Love my time on the dock with this dude. |
